| The Vancouver American
Wine Society
The Vancouver American Wine Society is the largest,
most active independent wine appreciation society in
North America with more than 500 members and a schedule
of events that annually comprises 24 diverse functions.
The Society, which operates in conjunction with the
United States Consulate General, offers a friendly,
non-intimidating environment in which to learn about
and taste American wines. Society events include formal
and informal wine tastings, educational seminars, dinners
featuring wine and food pairing, audio-visual presentations,
barbecues and winery tours. These functions are organized
to accommodate both the novice and advanced enthusiast.
Membership is $40. per year and includes a subscription
to Vintage Voice, the Society’s quarterly newsletter.
